We provided advice to a Legal 500 top tier listed firm based in Ukraine on the operation of English law as to when a deed of guarantee (or an on demand bond, being a guarantee) is varied as between the guarantor and the lender, together with providing guidance on how this should be approached in practice so as to ensure that the guarantee is adequately updated in the face of any amendments to the underlying facility agreement.
